SHIPPING INDUSTRY VETERAN JOINS VARSITY LOGISTICS
Charles Hawkins, former Pfastship and MicroGeneral sales executive to head western region
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — April 7, 2004 Varsity Logistics, Inc., the pioneer of transportation management solutions for the IBM iSeries, today announced the appointment of Charles Hawkins as Western Territory Sales Manager. Hawkins brings to Varsity extensive transportation management experience and most recently served as Vice President of Sales for Pfastship Worldwide Logistics. Hawkins will lead Varsity’s western territory sales efforts to further expand the company’s leadership position in delivering iSeries-based parcel and freight shipping software to companies in the United States and Canada.
