Combined Domestic and Export Capabilities

For fully automated international shipping, Varsity also offers the Export Documents Kit, a separately available module designed to meet all of your streamlined international packing needs. (Please contact your Varsity Logistics representative for details.)
Electronic Manifesting Tool (EMT)
The Electronic Manifesting Tool (EMT), frees you from the clutter and hardships associated with paper manifests by allowing you to send manifests electronically directly to UPS. In addition to increasing efficiency and reducing errors, this versatile transmission tool provides tracking number capabilities, billing options and many other features.
Active Data File (ADF)
Varsity ShipSoft now includes Dynamic Manifesting through transmission of the Active Data File (ADF). With the ability to be transmitted multiple times per day, this file obtains information on shipped and ‘to be shipped’ packages earlier than having to wait for (what is usually) the one-time End-of-Day PLD transmission – thereby letting you know where your packages are when you want to know it.
XML Based Tracking
Going forward, UPS will replace Host Access with a more reliable and secure communication method using SSL. This capability is now incorporated into the current CCK whenever EMT is configured and the tracking option is taken from the ShipView menu. Customers are able to track their shipments in real time using this more reliable process.
